MOUNTAIN RIDGE ANIMAL HOSPITAL
& PAIN MANAGEMENT CENTER
Dr. Jennifer Bentz
Dr. Bentz's career philosophy is based on her belief that each animal she treats is not just a pet, but a family member deserving of attention to their individual needs. It is this core belief that led her to the field of veterinary medicine at a very young age. Growing up, Dr. Bentz raised everything from cats and dogs to rabbits and horses, which soon gave way to volunteer work at local veterinary hospitals and clinics.
A true Colorado native, Dr. Bentz decided to pursue her veterinary interest at Colorado State University where she earned her B.S. in Equine Science. From there, she was accepted to the esteemed DVM program at CSU and proudly received her degree as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine accordingly.
She has continued to refine her skills in medicine and surgical techniques at Mountain Ridge Animal Hospital since 2007, and obtained certification in medical acupuncture in 2009.
Dr. Bentz's career interests include internal medicine, oncology, and orthopedics.
In her personal life, she enjoys hiking, competing in sprint triathlons, and spending time with her son and their Boxer, Bruiserwitz.
